Mermaids' Tango

Each piece has a few squiggles. The base is hollow.

Close up of negative spaces, created by barely touching parts. Also the woody vines that I've wrapped around the pieces.

The swollen bases come together at the top to create a fluid line.

Mermaids' Tango is made of two separate sculptures that fit against each other perfectly. Between the two pieces are negative spaces resembling bubbles, rising up through water. The bubbles have been created by the turbulence of the tango.
Wrapped around each piece are some woody vines that I found washed up on the beach.
